Made in the USA and available in two unique styles, this versatile piece can be used for display or decor, as a cupcake display stand, a cheese and cracker board, or for other accoutrements or hors d'oeuvres.
 
Designed with feet on the bottom to prevent surface scratching, it is impervious to fungus and mold, and eco-friendly.
 
This stand also serves as a great heat insulator to keep food warm during your gatherings.
 
Use chalk or soapstone to write on it whenever you'd like! Ideal for identifying your favorite cheeses & accoutrement directly on your tiered slate stand.
 
Food safe and non-toxic. Do not put in an oven or microwave - the slate may crack under heat.
 
Assembly required. Comes with 6 washers, 1 screw (for bottom), 1 longer screw pole (middle) and 1 handle for the top. Easy assembly takes only a minute or two.
 
Note: Slate is an all natural stone. Every piece has a slightly different pattern and color so no two pieces are exactly alike.
 
Mineral Oil: Slate products look completely different if mineral oil is applied (see the pictures). 
Without the oil it has more of a chalk like look. Without the oil fingerprints are easily seen on them when touched from natural oils. However, the chalk like look is very nice and rustic, so many do prefer this.
The other look is Food Grade Mineral Oil applied over it.  This darkens the slate to black and gives it a more sleek look. We can apply the oil for you for an additional cost or you can purchase the oil and apply it yourself. If you choose to have us apply the oil, please allow an additional 24 hours of shipping time.
 
Cleaning Instructions: Can be washed with liquid detergent with cloth; Do NOT use a brush or steel wool on slate.
